Private Pilot Flight Training
PRIVATE PILOT COURSE
Upon Completion of the course, the newly certificated pilot will be able to fly under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) with passengers. The private pilot and their passengers will have access to countless airports that help make up the complex National Airspace System.
We here at Empire Flight Academy make this possible with our professional flight instructors and courteous staff. Our flight line includes Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) and we pride ourselves in providing the best FAA Industry Training Standards (FITS) in those aircraft.

Instrument Pilot Flight Training
INSTRUMENT PILOT COURSE
An instrument rating allows a certificated pilot to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). On days when the weather grounds the VFR pilot, the IFR pilot can take to the skies and arrive at their destination. Among other things the instrument course teaches the pilot to be more precise with their flying, how to better interpret weather, and advances their understanding of the Air Traffic Control environment.
We at Empire Flight Academy encourage all certificated pilots to enroll in the instrument pilot course. Even if you consider yourself a fair-weather flyer, the day may come where the unexpected arrives. Be prepared for it with scenario-based training from certified flight instructors as they teach you the world of "glass cockpits" with our TAA aircraft and state of the art flight simulators.
